Meet Evann
Evann Fischer is a second-year Master's of Social Work student at Michigan State University who is beginning her clinical internship at Mitten Mental Health. She is passionate about supporting clients through a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between emotional and physical well-being.
Drawing from her background in dance and psychology, she has a special interest in incorporating breathing strategies, somatic techniques, and other mind-body practices into therapy. She wishes to create a compassionate and collaborative space where clients feel supported in exploring their experiences and developing greater self-awareness.
Beyond her schooling, she enjoys exploring Michigan with friends and family, crocheting, watching football, and listening to Podcasts.
She earned bachelor's degrees in dance and psychology from Hope College and is currently pursuing her master's degree at Michigan State University.
She practices under the supervision of Katie Sapita, LMSW.
